Four Safety Objectives

These are the four standards Petroforce holds itself to on every project, every site, every day.

01

Be an industry leader in health and safety

Meeting minimum compliance requirements isn't the goal. We aim to operate above the standard — not because a certification requires it, but because the work demands it. High pressure water jetting, chemical cleaning, and confined space operations are hazardous by nature. The only appropriate response to that is to be genuinely good at managing the risk, not just certified to do so.

02

Not accept unsafe acts of any nature

On a Petroforce job site, there is no such thing as a minor safety shortcut. Every person on site, from crew member to supervisor, has both the right and the responsibility to stop work if something isn't right. That authority is not conditional on seniority or schedule pressure. An unsafe act that goes unchallenged is a failure of the whole team, not just the individual.

03

Be proactive, not reactive, about safety

Reacting to incidents is too late. Petroforce actively encourages every employee to participate in the continued development of our health and safety programs — identifying risks before they become incidents, suggesting improvements, and treating safety as something that gets built and refined, not just followed. The best safety programs are built by the people doing the work.

04

Provide proper tools, leadership, and training

Safe work starts with preparation. Every crew member has the right equipment for the job they're doing, the training to use it properly, and clear leadership on every site. Equipment is maintained to limit failure in the field. Training is kept current. No one is put in a situation they're not equipped to handle - that's a management responsibility, and we take it seriously.
